I hope you're ready for a rave bargain review!? As you know, I've been obsessed with my nails recently. I've finally stopped chewing on them and I've let them grow, and they are gorgeous. So I've really been spoiling myself with hundreds of bottles of nail varnishes from loads of different brands. This week I've been wearing one of Primark's own nail varnishes. I can't find an official colour on my bottle, I'm not sure if it does have one and the stickers just fallen off or what, but let's just call it Light Blue!
In true "can't be bothered and forgot to do it" style, I didn't take a photo of my nails after I had done them, so here is a photo of me holding my little baby Domino. On this photo you can see the colour of my nails (even if they are chipped - what an awful beauty blogger I am) and they are a lovely sky blue colour. I really love this colour, it's so cute and quirky. Perfect for brightening up any outfit!
The nail varnish has a large brush applicator which basically covers my whole nail in one stroke. It's easy to use and didn't seem to get me that messy. It also dries insanely quickly and leaves you with a lovely shiny finish. The formula is quite thick but I found that my nails chipped pretty quickly once dried, I'm talking one or two hours and my nails were starting to look tacky...in fact I'm looking at them now and they are god damn awful and I've only had the varnish on for a week or so. Maybe I've just been overusing my fingers? I don't know.
Overall though, I do really like this nail varnish. I can deal with the chipping because it was a bargain buy at only £1.00 so you can't really complain when it's so cheap! I adore the colour, it's so bright and it's definitely a perfect shade for this summer. Thumbs up from me!
